So when I first came to China I was pretty excited about what kind of food was available. I was always eating Chinese takeaways and I figured I’d get a ton of sweet and sour chicken and all that. I figured there would be chicken balls left, right and center. They are my all-time favourite food and was totally excited to be in the chicken ball haven of the world.

Then when I decided to come here I remembered I would need to pack a few things:
- toothbrush
- pencil case
- giant inflatable duck
- pepper spray
- tube socks
I arrived in Chengdu back in 2014 as my first-ever trip to China. I heard it was known for its good food.

They said the hot pot was hot but I didn’t believe them. I’m tough as nails and was used to eating the extra spicy hot pot. How hot could it be?
Turns out it was a bit spicier than expected.

I hate you Kevin! your blogs stink!
